Meet The boss battle team!
PhyliciaCo-owner of Boss Battle Games, Phylicia is a self proclaimed "nerd". Her love of video games started with Oregon Trail in the early 90's, evolved in Pokemon in the late 90's, and has ultimately landed with older arcade games, such as Lunar Lander. She enjoys making costumes, cosplaying, and doodling cute things. She turned this love into a job - She designs all art, photos, websites, shirts, and social media associated with Boss Battle Games. Phylicia also does arcade art design and repair, bringing back marquees, side art, and control panels that have been lost to time. She's always happy to play DDR or challenge guests to a game of Lunar Lander.

DustinCo-owner of Boss Battle Games, Dustin dreamed of opening an arcade since middle school. Inspired by the all-you-can play lock-ins at Great Times in Beech Grove, he conjured up a business plan in a notebook and worked toward his goal. You can see a copy of this business plan in the arcade! Dustin enjoys playing fighting games such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, but finds good qualities in all games he tries. He would recommend new visitors try F-Zero AX and also welcomes a good match in any fighting game. Dustin is the arcade technician - he maintains all games on the floor as well as service calls made to Boss Battle Games.

Justin is our newest team member at Boss Battle Games! He found our arcade through the Smash community and became a loyal friend and supporter. Justin has a background in video game retail and graphic design. His incredibly vibrant personality is a great addition to the team and we're sure you'll love talking with him about your favorite arcade games. In his free time, Justin plays Super Smash Bros, creates art, and streams on Twitch! His favorite game in the arcade is DDR but he's also very partial to Soul Edge. You can catch Justin running the arcade desk and helping with our social media accounts!

Benson is our angel/friend/team member. We faced the unimaginable loss of our wonderful friend 12/3/20 after many years together. Benson could always be found on Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and was the best Super Smash Bros. player in the state. We had the opportunity to watch him grow from a teenager into a very charismatic adult. He was promised for years that he would have a job at BBG once he turned 21 and we absolutely kept that promise. Benson was well known and loved in the gaming community with a passion for competitive play. His spirit will always live on at Boss Battle Games and we will never forget him.
We love you Benny! |
Boss Battle support!
LeviLevi was snatched up by Boss Battle Games in early 2020 after spending a few years as an esports coordinator and streamer. He has an eye for the aesthetic, he's a creative soul, and the most welcoming presence at Boss Battle Games. When he's not playing DDR or Guitar Hero (a favorite among us all), he volunteers his time with a local wildlife rescue! Levi has been a tremendous help to Boss Battle Games by breathing new life into our social media presence and helping boost our online sales.

BillyBilly began coming to Boss Battle Games for Smash Bros events in the early years, ending up in our orbit in 2020 as a team member second, friend first. He is incredibly talented at streaming, speed running games, and writing/playing music. His charisma and big personality goes unmatched at Boss Battle Games and if you catch him at the arcade or doing a repair job, you always enjoy his witty commentary. Billy has been spending his time at BBG learning the art of arcade repair and sales. His favorite game is Guitar Hero Arcade and is always happy to play a round of Smash Bros.
ArtArt is the warehouse supervisor. His hobbies include chasing balls, begging for butt smacks, and snoozing on the job. He spends his days at the warehouse checking everyone's work and giving them motivation. Art is a good boy and we all love him.
